The exchange trades Monday to Friday. It does not open at weekends.
Time zone and daylight saving
Toronto observes daylight saving. Clocks move on 8 March and 1 November 2026, so the local opening time never changes but its UTC equivalent does: UTC-5 in winter, UTC-4 in summer. That one hour is why a session that lines up neatly with yours in January can start an hour earlier or later in July.
